What makes me happy....

....is homemade bread! I made 5 loaves of half wheat/half white bread on Friday. And they turned out great. Bread is so fulfilling and yummy. I found someone's blog that breaks down the specifics to acquire the ingredients you will need for a year supply of bread (6 loaves of bread per week). I'm taking to heart that information because I could live on bread everyday. Yum! If you live nearby, come on by and taste a slice! :)

Good for you Stephanie! Keep it up. Doesn't the house smell good when bread is baking in the oven?

Looks delicious! Could I get your bread recipe? I am always looking for new recipes.

Yummy! I wish I did live close enough to enjoy a slice. It would be so fun to eat bread and visit while the kids played. Lashelle

Tricia, I used the recipe from the blog that I mention in this post: http://theemptynestlife.blogspot.com/2008/
01/wheat-bread-for-one-year.html

It is the best bread recipe I've used so far (tastes very good, doesn't need eggs or milk, and is good for sandwiches - not crumbly).

Looks yummy! My kids are bread snobs. They have been eating homemade for so long, they don't like store bought bread :)

Hey Stephanie, I'll be right over, I wish. It sure looks yummy, you do a good job. Aunt Sheila gave me and a couple of my sisters some of her delicious rolls yesterday that had just come out of the oven, there's nothing better.
