This was the first year ever that Jared & I have stayed at our own home for Christmas! It's amazing how much more relaxing it can be. We loved it! Grammy & Grandpa Johnson came to visit us during Christmas. They had their own room (which they really liked for daily naps too). We enjoyed a puzzle together, lots of good food, and fun times on their Wii they just bought. They were fun to have here!
Grammy cross stitched Lance that picture behind him. I think it took her 80 hours to make! She makes one for each of her grandkids and we all love it! I gave Lance an 8x8" scrapbook with 24 new pages that cover his first year of life. I didn't decide until December to even start his scrapbook but after countless hours, I finished all the pages digitally and then had them printed. Digital scrapbooking is the way to go! It's much more fun for me to do it that way.
The following pages are two of the pages I made for Lance:
Alexa really LOVES to open presents. She didn't really care what was inside (at the time) but wanted to rip that wrapping paper off as fast as possible. She loves her new digital camera & baby doll. With the money that G&G Chapple gave her, she bought a baby doll cradle (not pictured here). My parents gave us 70 DVD's they transferred from home videos. It's a gift that we will enjoy for the rest of our lives!
Dallin is so easy to please. He loves his magician set and really loves to entertain. He's willing to do almost anything to make people laugh. He likes his new digital camera too. Dallin is amazing at the hula hoop (a talent that I've never had).

Excellent scrapping. I am so far behind that it almost makes me want to quit. I think that when school is finally over (I mean all the way over) then I will catch up. That means I will start posting more layouts in late 2010 or so.
I can't believe how big Lance looks!
Digi-scrapping is the way to go. Those pages look great. It looks like a fun Christmas.
I too like digital scrapbooking. I hope someday to see the whole book :-) What company did you use? Lashelle
Lashelle, I use Adobe Elements to create the pages. Most of the time I use a template to create the layers but I usually modify the templates a lot too.
I like all the Christmas pictures. Love the scrapbook pages you made for Lance. You might just convert me to digital sb if I can practise more with my Elements program
what a great Christmas! I love your pages!
Long time no see...Christine shared your blog with me. Wow your kids are so big. I am so impressed with your Digital Scrapbooking. I need to try that. I tried doing it the regular way...it drove me crazy!!!! Hope things are well with you guys. I miss you!!!
