Build and Grow Clinic

Recently I discovered that Lowe's has a Build and Grow Clinic every two weeks where kids get to build something from a kit and take it home. It's free and fun for all ages! Pictured above is Alexa putting on the stickers after building her firetruck.

Lance looking so studious!

Dallin could do the whole project on his own. He's good at following directions.

Tada! Look what they made!!!

Another week, the kids built a school bus. Lance is surprisingly good at hammering.

One of the Saturday mornings, Alexa & Lance made a school bus and drum and Dallin made a helicopter & a drum. Lesson learned: sign up online before showing up the day of the project. But we got to make an extra thing while we waited to see if there were enough drums for us to make one. In addition to those projects, the kids made a bank at Home Depot and a ball toss at Lowe's.

Fun projects, I love the way they have them in kits for the kids. Hey, where's pictures of them in Home Depot aprons--they'd match Aunt Ashley.:)

Wow that is so cool! And then you don't have to provide anything for their project! I love Lance's studious face! :)

Jackson has done quite a few of the projects at Lowe's. He made the same fire truck. We have him signed up for the next 2 coming up. They look like fun projects. Lashelle

You will have to remind me about this when I come back. I will totally join you someday...
