My Mom, Dad, and sister Ashley drove from Arizona to visit us at the end of April. They came for Dallin's baptism and a week of fun! I've been needing a blanket for all seasons so I enlisted the help of Ashley and my Mom. We sewed the edges together with my new sewing machine.
Then we all tied it. That was a big job!

It was amazing that it was all finished within a day! And I LOVE it!

It's very pretty!!
Did your sewing machine do that leaf stitching on the edges?? Awesome. What kind of sewing machine is it?
That was great fun helping you and Ashley make the blanket. I like all the stitches on your new sewing machine.
Crystal, I bought a 70-stitch Brother sewing machine from Costco. It makes it fun to have cool stitches. I plan on making some baby blankets or hooded towels with it too.
that was a fun project! it turned out great!
You get lots done with those two helping you!
You and the kids look so cozy. I am sure you are going to post more pictures of their visit? No pressure or anything :-)
oh, I love that border detailing!
How fun to finish projects! I love the border!
