We went to Six Flags during the Swine Flu scare (at the beginning of May). And to our advantage, the park was practically empty! It was AWESOME not having to wait in any lines. We spent 8-9 hours going, going, going!

Ashley & I rode this coaster, Mr. Freeze, seven times in a row (it lasts 45 seconds -- forward on the way to the top and backwards all the way back). Jared and my Dad rode it three times. It's the craziest roller coaster and gives an instant headache. Somehow, though, we had to keep riding. It was thrilling!!!
Cooling off in the Texas heat
I love hanging out with my sis! We had a blast riding the roller coasters together too!

A Texas sized chair! My mom was so generous to watch Lance while the rest of us rode the roller coasters. Thank you!!
Riding the train to the other side of the park.
We fed these geese Fiery Hot Cheetos. They were totally gulping them up but then realized that their mouths were on fire. It was hilarious hearing them honking like they needed a drink.
All of us who went: Jared, Lance, Stephanie, (Scoobie Doo), Ashley, Mom, and Dad

Jealous!! We are going to 6flags next time we come, I've determined. And we'll need to do it on a non busy day as well.
How fun! It cracks me up that you fed the geese the fiery cheetos. Do you think they learned a lesson about taking snacks from strangers? :-)
Sounds like you guys had a blast. Hopefully the geese found water to cool their mouths off.
Love you,
Tiffany Egbert
Looks like fun! How did you leave the others behind? My kids would have mutinied. We have gone to SeaWorld twice in the last month and my "big" kids are thrilled to go on the rides. The little one and I looked at animals instead :)
Caroline: Alexa was too short to ride any of the rides so she was fine hanging out with her friend all day. Dallin, on the other hand, really wanted to go. But he did have school that day. Plus we wanted to try it out to see if it was a good place for kids. Overall, I think it's great for adults but there really isn't much for kids to do there.
We're planning on going to Sea World in July. Is there a good place to buy discount tix? Dallin can ride the rides at Sea World instead. :)
That looks like lots of fun. I have not been to the Texas Six Flags since I was pregnant when our family went. (No reason to die in the Texas heat for nothing). I will have to plan to go there when I get back.
Where were the other kids?
It was great fun even if I did watch Lance instead of going on the rides. Especially since I don't like adventurous rides.:)
oh yay! that was so much fun! I like the editing you did on that shock wave pic!
